A Las Vegas Ashtanga, Massage & Yoga Center
Locally Owned and supportive of community, Namaste Yoga Studio's mission was to provide yoga and fitness classes in conjunction with massage therapy programs for pain management of the chronic pain sufferer.
The studio brought together the methods of the Ashtanga Yoga Method and the latest understanding of how yoga and touch therapeutics affect pain and injury. Understanding that pain is usually the primary complaint, pain relief became the primary concern. Teachers were specially trained in massage therapy, the neuroscience of pain, nervous-system anatomy and function, the Ashtanga Tristhana method, and pranayama.
If a doctor had recommended you exercise or try yoga, the staff was ready to help — and you could always talk with owner Gayla Coughlin, a Licensed Massage Therapist, with any questions about beginning a practice.

What does "Namaste" mean?
Most often translated as "I honor the spirit in you that also resides in me," Namaste is a common spoken valediction or salutation originating from the South Asian Hindus and Buddhists — a customary greeting when people meet, and a parting word, traditionally offered with a slight bow and palms pressed together at the chest.
